Although we support SQL Server, we find DB2 and Oracle are better to support large Jazz tools environments. Further, we support more of the advanced capabilities of DB2 and Oracle, such as clustered database. Your question is very general though. 'Works better' can be interpreted in various ways. If you meant performance, then yes, Oracle or DB2 is recommended Here are some links to our Deployment wiki Performance and HA/DR wiki pages. https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/PerformanceWhereToStart https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/PerformanceDatasheetsAndSizingGuidelines https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/ApproachesToImplementingHAAndDR https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/RecommendedALMDeploymentTopologies6 |
