Server activation failed
Recently upgraded the RTC jazz server from 1.0.1.1 to v2. No problems other than that when I try & upload the server activation key it fails & reports:
CRJAZ0975I The policy requires the bundle com.ibm.team.jazz.server[1.0.1,1.1.0), but it could not be found. The new server license does not support floating licenses. If the license changes are saved, the active floating leases will be terminated. Please enter the number of licenses purchased Included Purchased Total I checked with out IBM support contact & was told that the server key would still be valid following the upgrade. I successfully uploaded the standard contributor & floating contributor/developer license keys. |

Criag,
I was already using v2.0 of the server key but I did download v2 of the floating licenses from PartnerWorld, which when allowed me to see the floating licenses from the user management screen. One minor query - in the floating license section I can see 2 occurrence of each floating license type (previously uploaded v1.0 & now the new v2.0 of the floating dev / cont). I've set one value to 0 & the other to match the number of license purchased. Can you remove a floating license key type? Thanks Mike |

Criag, You cannot remove them, unfortunately. There is an enhancement request for this functionality, see: https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/86979 Thanks, Craig Chaney Jazz server team |
