I am trying to export the data in a Plan view to MS Excel and/or MS Project in RTC 5.0.2. The only file format I can find to export is XML. Am I missing something?

In 5.0.2 you can not export data from a plan view to CSV/Excel. This is available singe 6.0.1 https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/6.0.1?p=news#exportplantocsvweb

In 5.0.2 you can only export a plan to XML, which is an MS Project format. The XML is however limited and only a few attributes are exported, regardless the plan view. See https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSCP65_5.0.2/com.ibm.team.apt.doc/topics/t_import_project_plans.html
