Way to easily create multiple plans for several teams

John Cabral (154) | asked Jul 20 '16, 1:03 p.m.
 Hi all,

We have some projects that require us to create their plans far enough ahead so that they can use them as they tend to move items from the backlog and plan several sprints ahead.  Is there an easy way to create plans for several teams across several sprints?  Currently we have 10 teams and they want 3 sprints ahead which is 30 plans we have to generate.  Thanks for any help.

https://rsjazz.wordpress.com/2015/06/11/creating-plans-with-the-plain-java-client-api/ but it uses Eclipse client API and internal API and might not be available much longer.

Consider creating an enhancement request for the ability to use automaition.

On the other hand creating a plan is not rocket science, and a lot of customers have at least one team member (for example the team lead) being skilled enough to create a plan with sone small description.

Note, you can file stuff against any iteration, regardless if there is a plan already.
