Can a test case be generated in RQM for a Requirement in DOORS NG outside of the Requirements reconciliation?
Thanks

Just to clarify,

Have you tried going to the Links tab in DNG and selecting "Validated By"? It should have the option of creating a new test case or linking to an existing Test Case. Of course Daniel's way is better for a larger number of items.

Yes. Create a module view in DOORS or DOORS NG (or a collection in DOORS NG) and link it to a test plan. Then use the RQM option for requirements reconciliation.

I think of it as a linked test case "container" since the actual content of the test case must be written by a human.

You can read more in the documentation:

Thank you for your response. So we have to go to RQM to generate the test case and it cannot be done from DOORS NG, right? We can only link the Requirement to test plan in DOORS.
