RTC 4.0.5 (web) client cursor issues
We are currently running the 4.0.5 applications in a Windows 7 environment.
A user reported the following (any ideas?):
When the user types in a comment (EDIT: using web client, Firefox v24 ):
- sometimes it loads a quick find bar on the bottom of the page and moves cursor there (note, on occasion but not always)
- also, the cursor disappears on the page, and the arrow keys don’t change the current cursor position.
This only happens for our RTC site, but no others.
Has anyone seen this before or has an idea what may be the cause?
thanks
Paul

There are some known similar defects but none of them relates to Firefox(problem with IE or Chrome):

If you are not with FF24.8, please upgrade to it or higher(if any) and see if it helps. otherwise, you may check if any extension/plugins in FF is causing the issue:
1) Turn off hardware acceleration in FF: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems#w_turn-off-hardware-acceleration
2) or Start FF in Save mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems#w_start-firefox-in-safe-mode
