Deployment Recommendations for RPE Web Server
My current environment is CLM 6.0.1 on RHEL in the enterprise topology with SQL Server on Windows as my database.
I want to deploy the RPE Web server, but I am not clear on a few things:
1. preferred OS
2. co-location with other CLM applications vs stand alone
3. how much memory is used and what drives it's usage

Preferred OS - Windows Server (2012 or later) or any Windows (7, 8.1) / RHEL (6 or 7) OS
Co-location with other CLM applications vs stand alone - Does not matter much. You can either use the same application server (Tomcat or WAS) or use a different one. Note that we do not support SQL Server for RPE web services. You can either use the default Derby that comes with RPE or use DB2.
How much memory is used and what drives it's usage - Depending on document generation. If we generate long document or concurrent documents, memory usage will be more.
