RTC - Git integration - Push permissions in tutorial

john norris (20733844) | asked Apr 16 '16, 2:31 a.m.

Hi,

I am continuing the tutorial at https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RTCGitIntegrationSetupUsingNode. using RTC 6.0.1

I have set the Git Repository Access permissions re the tutorial. But I also had to allow the admin user to Register Repositories. Should I also allow set the Push Operations as well such as "Push New Commits", "Create Branch" etc.

Also, does the integration provide access control on a folder basis in the repository or would I still need hooks for that as in "normal" git.

Plus, with the RTC-Git integration, I do not need a product such as gerrit? If not, is the integration giving me any form of review control?

Regards,

John
