 i am trying to get the issue details using a release id in request one. it seems to giving me just the count and not the detils. how do i query for the details of issue associated with a release in request one?

 request one is a part of Ration Clear Quest. its used to log Defects in ClerQuest.

I must have left the ClearQuest world for too long as I have not heard of "Request One" either even I consider myself a ClearQuest expert. Is it a customized record type in your own schema? Please explain the issue clearly using common terms. Otherwise no one can help you. Besides, ClearQuest related issues should be addressed in the dW Answers forum.
