RTC ClearCase Synchronizer Error (Missing ClearQuest Workitem)

I am trying to import a UCM Enabled ClearCase stream to RTC. Half way through the import the sync fails with a message that a ClearQuest activity XYZ with a DBID abc is missing. It gets over baselines created till about mid 2012 and nothing after that. I did lookup the ClearQuest database for that record type both by ID and DBID but couldnt find any. Have any of you encountered this before? Leads please....

Thanks

The error from the stacktrace is as below:

javax.wvcm.WvcmException: CRRTC4061E: The synchronization process cannot be completed. The "ratlperl.exe" command completed with a non-zero status or error message:

CRMCU0027E An error was detected retrieving information from the ClearQuest database.
There is a reference to an object that does not exist:
  Object Type: Entity
Object: CRMUD0131E "33579378" of record type "WorkItem"
This error was detected at: ClearQuest Core:adentitymgr.cpp:1002
Recommendation: If you cannot determine how to resolve this issue, contact Rational Support and provide all the above information as well as a description of the context in which the message occurred. at C:\IBM\ClearCaseSynchronizer\ccctools\ScmConnectors\GetUCMActivityDBID.pl line 25.

From the error:

I would suggest to do exactly that.

Ralph,

Have already done that. They are looking at it as well but no luck yet.
