Changing which sections get included in a test case

I am using the CALM integrations with RTC (2.0 of both products) and I every time I create a new test case, I have to manually add the Plan Items section to the test case so as to be able to add links back to my Stories in RTC. How do I go about modifying the existing test case template, or create a new customized template so that the Plan Items section is included by default?

Hello,
To do this, go to Planning->Manage Templates.
Find the Test Case Template that is marked as "Default".
Edit this template and add the "Plan Items" section as a Selected Section, and save.
At this point all new Test Cases will use this template and include the Plan Items section.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
John

John,

That did not quite work. When I go to Planning->Manage Templates all the templates have "No" in the Modifiable column. As expected, when I open one, I can not change it. Looks like all I could do is copy one and then modify the copy. Is there a way to make the RQM supplied templates modifiable?

Sorry, the RQM out of the box templates are not modifiable.
You need to copy the template, edit it as fit, then set it as the default.

I tried that and it worked fine. However, in the end the end I just picked the "Collaborative ALM Test Case Template" as my default since it had all that I needed already.

Thank you,
