[Q] How to make images in DNG artifact to refer external resources to be updated automatically?

We have images to be managed as a part of requirement and at the same time those should be located outside of DNG (say, external share repository) to be shared with others who does not use DNG. As we develop product, those images located at external share repository are to be changed. Everytime it changes, we manually copy and paste again into DNG artifacts, which takes efforts and cause errors.

Is there any way to make DNG artifact to refer external image to make it automatically updated? We tried to create an iframe within DNG artifact to refer external image but didn't work.Any advices or comments?

Even if you can add an external link of an image, it may still be blocked by the browser due to security restriction (cross-site).
