Is RQM Integration with HP Business Process Test Framework (BPT) possible?

Tarun Roy (111) | asked Mar 04 '16, 2:05 a.m.

Hi,

Currently, we are using HP QC with BPT framework & UFT (QTP) for automated testing. As a part of migration, now we have to move all the BPT tests and BPT components to RQM.

My question: Is it possible to migrate the BPT tests and BPT components to RQM?

Regards,

Tarun

Hi,

The equivalent of HP BPT would be the concept of keywords in Rational Quality Manager (RQM).

RQM keywords can be used to create modular tests. They can be associated to either manual or automated test scripts, such as HP UFT/QTP test scripts that can be run from RQM using the dedicated test execution adapter that is provided in the extras section of the RQM download page:

Another option would be to implement keywords with IBM Rational Functional Tester (RFT) or IBM Rational Test Workbench (RTW) test scripts.

In both cases, IBM services organization can help you migrate from HP to RQM.

Christophe
