Need to Understand  work-item Search capability while linking two work-items by using "Link Type"



Scenarios tried :

--> Work item number search  --> working as we expected 

Below scenarios working partially 
--> Workitem containing words with in " " quotes
--> workitem containing words with in ' ' quotes
--> wokritem containing words without quotes

Can anyone explain how it behaves ?.
