Assuming it is related to adapter customization on z. But what is the feasible solution?

Calling RQM API to inject test result back to RQM execution record? This seems simple & stupid, but just not sure if those API fully functional ...

RQM is supported on z/OS (see https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/CLMSystemRequirements601).  In addition, the RQM Reportable REST API is supported on all platforms that support a HTTP client.
