Generate encrypted password for QM command line adapter
Is there a way just to create/overwrite the encrypted password string in the config2.ini of the command line adapter?
Or even more convenient (because we always have to replace the same user password on several machines): is there any option to provide a password file (as it is possible for build engines)?

Right now it is not there. You can start the adapter from the command line by passing parameter -user and -password. This will replace the existing password in the config file. Please keep in mind that never copy-paste config file from 1 machine to another as it contains adapter specific information. So, you have to do it in all machines.
