Blocking task

Hi,

By using a Kanban view, what might the best way to block a task in a specific column? Like something appearing on the task meaning that the task is blocked. I do not want to create a new status 'on hold' with a new column 'on hold' but keeping the task and status where it is.

I am not aware that blocking is supported prior to that.
