Balamurugan Selvarasu (331430) | asked Oct 12 '15, 2:08 p.m.
Hi All,

I have configured specific permissions for a iteration type, but it is working as expected. when planning a workitem for a iteration which belongs to a iteration type configured permission to not modify the "Planned For" attribute.

This question does not make sense to me. You might want to try to reword it. Permissions don't modify attributes. The might restrict or allow modifying attributes. So if you mean the permission is not removed, be aware that permissions accumulate across roles as well.

See  Process permissions lookup in Rational Team Concert 2.0
and Process behavior lookup in Rational Team Concert 2.0 how this works across multiple dimensions.

Please also be aware that if users complained that permissions or operational behavior did not work properly, in almost all cases it turned out to be a user error in configuring or a lack of knowledge related to the articles above and a lack of understanding of the consequences of what said articles describe.
