How to set permissions for links add and delete in Rational Team Concert?

Is there a way to set permissions for link types in Rational team Concert. In our scenario Our testers are allowed to link test cases with work items. We don't see the option for modify work item permissions for "Related Test Case", "Related Test Plan" or similar action permissions. We do have permission settings for parent type, children type attachment type only. Where do we set the rest of the permission setting for all allowed link types? We don't want other project users to be removing or changing links like developers wo are allowed to make other changes to work items but not to Test Case links.  We are using CLM 5.0.2.
Any suggestions will be helpful. Thank you.

Hi Anup,

From the RTC side, currently it is not possible to set permissions for creation / modification of some of links types (such as Related Test Case, Affected by Defect, etc...).

Based on the following RFE, it seems that the development team has plans to implement this feature in a future release of the product:

 Hi Alexandre,

Thanks for the response. Do you think this is do able currently using Operation Advisors / RTC extensions. I have written RTC extensions before but have not taken a look at the link side. Now I'm skeptic about implementing this using code.

Thanks again.

 Hi Anup,

I'm not sure if this is possible to do it using Operation Advisors. Hopefully someone else in the forum can provide any input.

yes, absolutely you can do this in an advisor.

Note that an existence of an RFE or enhancement request for this functionality does not imply that "the development team has plans to implement this feature in a future release" ... it just means that they haven't rejected the request to do so.
