Strange name shotening
My user name in our RTC server is "Cocker, M (Mark)" due to sync process
with LDAP. When I subscribe to items, the Quick Information box shows me
as "CM(" which seems to be the first character from the first three words.
This is likely quite common. Could RTC ignore words starting with "("?
Mark.

Anthony,
I tried to create a defect on jazz.net but was given the error "Missing
required license. The client access licenses assigned to the current
user do not allow the "Save Work Item" operation. Assign one of the
following license types to this user to allow this operation:
Contributor, ClearCase Connector, Developer, Build System, Floating
Developer, Floating Contributor, ClearQuest Connector."
How do I get my license type changed?
Summary: Shortened user names includes brackets "("
Description: My user name in our RTC server is "Cocker, M (Mark)" that
is imported as part of a sync process with LDAP. When I subscribe to
items, the Quick Information box shows me as "CM(" which seems to be the
first character from the first three words. I was expecting RTC to
ideally show me as "MC" or "CM" but not "CM(".

I don't have control of the licensing, but I did create a work item for
this request (88516).
Cheers,
Geoff
