IMPORTANT: Can not load Iteration plans
Hi,
Some of the iteration plans do not open at all. Jazz client says loading.... forever and does not load anything. And when I click on open items in the iteration plan top bar, it shows an error called "Project area not initialized" What is the reason for this? When do we get a fix for this? And sometimes memory and CPU usage of Jazz shoots up like HELL. |

Hi, If you open the Team Artifacts Navigator and right click on your project area, do you see an option to "Initialize..."? If so, then it sounds like your project area was never initialized. Initializing the project area just runs an optional set of steps that can do things like create an initial set of work items, some team areas, and some streams. If your project area is already up and running and you don't want any of this extra stuff to happen, open the project area editor and go to the Process Configuration tab. From here, expand the Project Configuration node and select "Project Area Initialization". If you see any follow-up actions listed here, remove them and save the project area. Then you can run the "Initialize..." action from the context menu and it will simply mark the project area as initialized. -- Jared Burns Jazz Process Team |

Hello murthydn,
have you looked up the work items for something similar? If you can't find anything I'd suggest to create a workitem - don't forget to provide the typical environment informations. Thanks, Ralph Hi, |

Actually we are not able to see the Planned items section of iteration plan for completed iterations. We can only see it for current running iteration. However we can see the iteration planned items through web. In eclipse client, "Overview" and "Charts" sections of iteration plan are loading properly but NOT "Planned Items" :( Looks like a bug in in the iteration plan view. Any possible workarounds or fixes?? |
I saw this when users created plans containing items where priority was blank. Assigning a priority solved it.
