RQM: Filter issue after copying testscript based on a snapshot

My Environment:
RQM 5.0.2 and "Team Areas" enabled (retested also with RQM 6.0.1 - same behavior)

Steps:
1) create "Team Area" Sandbox
2) create test script with "Team Area" Sandbox
3) make snapshot of test script
4) make a copy of the test script (based on the snapshot not on the latest version)
5) browse for all test scripts
--> at least the two test scripts with "Team Area" Sandbox are shown
6) Filter for "Team Area" Sandbox
Bang! --> only the original test script is shown.

Probably a bug, right? Or do I miss something?

  Kind regards, Jörg

Jörg,

This is working as designed, browse artifact table doesn't display snapshots. But while adding test script to test case you have an option to specify 'include snapshots' in 'Add Test Scripts' view using 'Enter More Filters' option.

Add Snapshot filters

 Hi Mehul,

thanks for the answer. But I do not work directly with a snapshot.
In step 4) I make a copy of a test script. The new version is no longer part of a snapshot.
And in the browser I can see it (step 5). But when I filter for teamarea (step 6) the script disappears although the teamarea matches.

  Thanks, Jörg

Jörg,

Thanks for sharing the screen capture. At Step 4, did you do 'duplicate' of test script? I thought you are attempting 'Copy' of snapshot.

I did the same steps as you described (using 601 as well as sandbox version of RQM) but I am able to filter the testscript based on 'Team Area'. Just check if this is not refresh issue or 'duplicate' operation completed without any failure or no access right issues.

Mehul

I do not duplicate, I open the snapshot view of a test script and click on Copy.

ON 6.0.1M! I can reproduce the behaviuor.

And it happens only with "Team Area" Field.

In the example above I did another test:

When all three testscripts are shown with "team Area" Sandbox", I filter for "Team Area" == unassigned.
Expected result: empty list, but testscript with ID 29 is shown and Team area is "sandbox".
