Why a bona fide query on webUI and Eclipse client on physical PC's would generate error on an client on VDX (virtual desktop): URI has an authority component ?
We have an RTC (5.0.2 on Windows/Tomcat) WI query (maybe among others with same issue):
which would run on webUI anywhere (in-network or via VPN laptops, desktops, and on VDX) , and would run on Eclipse clients on desktops & laptops: but would generate an error when run on an Eclipse client (4.0.6 or 5.0.2) on a VDX (virtual desktop via Citrix Receiver).
Most queries running fine on client on VDX.

Duh! first thing, even before posting this question or working with user to debug, should have been google'ing the error message "Uri has an authority component" |
