Character length limit of Artifact ID in RDNG?

Chi Rui Ng (2114) | asked Aug 13 '15, 10:32 a.m.
What is the character length limit of artifact's ID attribute in DOORS Next Generation? If the version of RDNG is relevant, I am referring to DOORS Next Generation v6.0. Thank you.

Which ID are you referring to? The number 123 or the UUID starting with an underscore such as _Toe4UIPuEeSfUbpncKGSsw ?

I'm referring to the numerical ID (123) which appears in the default view (or when we browse artifacts).

The numeric ID of a requirement artifact refers to the attribute "identifier", which is of data type "Integer". I cannot find any documents specifying the exact limit of the said integer type, but if the RDF URI of the data type "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#int" is honored, then it is a 32bit signed integer, with the maximum value being 2147483647 (10 digits).
