Does Data Collection Component install in RTC 5.0 will improve the planning features

Hi,

We are going to upgrade RTC version 5.0.2, there I see a new component DCC which improve the ETL jobs running. But I have question,
Will there be any improvement on the planning features if we install Data Collection Component? I have search many articles but couldn't find may be it is not linked.

Hi Satish,
DCC is responsible only for gathering data for the reports. Your data warehouse jobs will be faster.

Anyway RTC 5.0.2 comes with new quick planner features but they are the part of RTC, not DCC. No need to use DCC to have that features.
