Jazz platform on VDC vmWare
Hi,
i have a VDC vmware enviroment with a public IP and EDGE Firewall.
I installed the Jazz platform on a windows virtual machine and i can reach it on the public IP with any browser.
I started to configure the jts but i stop on step 1 : Configuring URI public
I check the public ip and i retrieve the following error:
- ID CRAJAZ1860E
- ID CRAJAZ1774W
It strange because i can reach the site, but the test fails.
Could you help me?
Thanks
mario

Since you don't post the error text, there is nothing we can really do. The error numbers also don't find anything in a search. You apparently can reach the site, since you can login and start the setup wizard.
The thing that makes me suspicious is that you talk a public IP. You don't use an IP address in the public URI, you use a fully qualified machine independent server name. See https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/YouCantChangeThePublicURI and see the standard topologies https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/StandardTopologiesOverview#Versions_6_x If you want more help, please provide more information like version, if you use a proxy, your topology and details on the errors. |
This is the error text :
"The configuration test resulted in errors. Resolve the errors to continue. For information about why the configuration did not pass the validity test and how to provide a valid configuration, see the other messages that are provided with this message. For more information, open the help and search for "Running the setup wizard".

Hi Mario,
The error message "The specified host "212.77.72.12" is using an IP address which is not portable" is obviously telling you are using the IP address.
You should use any fully qualified machine independent server name, then add an entry in /etc/hosts or in your DNS server.
