How to add existing workitem from one project area to another project area plan view?

I have one woritem in a project area and want to add in anothet project area plan view.

I have seen the option to add existing workitem in plan view UI however cross project is disable.

Please guide me.

You can use cross project plans to plan across project areas.
You can not really reliably show a work item from another project area on the other plan types otherwise. In some versions, if you make it a child, it will show, as outplaced item, but not contribute to the plan.

 Thank you Ralph. I have tried and it resolve the problem.

One more query ,I am not getting the work break down view in cross project plan.
Is it possible to show other view in cross project view.
