In RTC, we have all scheduled absences like vacation input into the server, but how to get an overview of the team's absence in a summary view, like a team calendar usually can do ?

I think it's a pretty common requirement, and it makes no sense with the schedule absense info in jazz server, we require team members to maintain another separate team calendar.

Anyone can shed some light here ? Thanks in adnvance.

Hi,

this is currently not possible. However, there are two related enhancement requests for this:
58766: Provide rollup of scheduled absences of all members of a team area
76954: Reflect Scheduled Absences visibly in user displays

On a related note, has anybody inside IBM worked out how to take a
Vacation Planner document (US HR Notes database template that lets you
exchange absences with coworkers, via e-mailed attachments)
and suck that into RTC as an absence schedule?

I just searched for such a feature and found this (old) forum entry.

I found that WI 58766 (already mentioned above) seems to be pretty close to the topic of this forum entry.
Are there any plans to implement this?

So, it seems that this was pulled from the 3.0 release and backlogged back in 2010.

Any plans to review this again?   Or shall it remain in backlog purgatory?
