Hi there,

Upon looking into your question, the only information I can find is that RTC 4.0.4 can be integrated with GIT 1.7.1 and future fix packs as shown in the CLM Wiki page below:

Are you already using the Rational Lifecycle Integration Adapters for GIT with RTC 4.0.4?

If so, you can follow this instruction Setting up Gerrit.
If not, you need to follow all steps in Installing the Git Adapter.

But It is recommended to use RTC 5.0 or later which has the new build-in Git Integration features.  See this.
