Changing HTTPS to HTTP for Jazz

Leesen Padayachee (9955119) | asked Jul 08 '15, 4:53 a.m.
 Hi

Please could you help me with any documentation that explains how to go about changing the https to http for Jazz. The client currently has CLM 5.0.2 running on WAS 8.5. Their network team requires Jazz to be changed to http, before they can attempt to make Jazz live on the internet.

Thanks

Leesen

This change can only be done before the initial setup. If it is supposed to be dona after the fact, you have to do a server rename/public URI change. To do the latter, you need a key that you can only get from support. I would suggest to contact support to get that key and also directions to switch from secure HTML to insecure HTML and what the implications are.

I think I have seen something in the libraries, but I can't find it any more.
I think you have to
- Create or change the profile to a HTTP port
- Disable redirects to HTTPS ports.

Hi Leesen, I just wonder why you need to make the Jazz/CLM server less secure on the Internet?

If you really need to do so, I can think of deploying the IBM HTTP server (IHS) with http in front of the existing Jazz/CLM server and you don't need change any setting for the Jazz/CLM server.
