What are Ready-to-use - embedded JRS Reports?
In JRS 6.0, there is a group of out-of-the-box reports tagged as: Ready-to-use - embedded. I cannot find any documentation on how these are used. It looks like the runtime filters are external keys. If someone can point me to documentation that explains how to use these reports, that would be much appreciated. |

Hello,
Those "embedded" reports are only be visible for Report Managers and they are intended only for use within the Quick Planner context and not the JRS UI.
f you want to use the equivalent reports in the JRS UI, then you can use one of the 12 new Ready-to-use reports for Burn-down and Burn-up. They are divided by a 6 reports that work for against an entire Release (3 for Burn-up and 3 for Burn-down) and another 6 that are for particular Iterations with-in a release. Each of these reports are fully parameterized so that you can customize them in the JRS UI or in a JTS Dashboard.
Hope that helps,
-Steve

Hi Robert,
See this topic that discusses ready-to-use reports. http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYMRC_6.0.0/com.ibm.team.jp.jrs.doc/topics/c_ready_to_use_reports.html Comments

Thanks, Heidi. So I assume that the "Ready-to-use - embedded" reports (which are private) are essentially sub-reports used by the public "Ready-to-use" reports and should be ignored, right? The Knowledge Center article does not address the "embedded" reports. Also, I'm assuming that the "Ready-to-use" reports contain capabilities that have not yet been incorporated in the Report Builder but may be available in a future release. Once the functionality has been added to the Report Builder, the "Ready-to-use" reports will become "Ready-to-copy", right? |
Once you activated ready-to-use reports which is not editable, you can use it as other built-in widgets in dashboard:
