What does "Tolerated" mean WRT RTC-2.0 and Eclipse 3.5

The RTC-2.0 product page states that the RTC-2.0 Eclipse plugin
"tolerates" Eclipse 3.5. A few questions around that:

- What does "tolerate" mean?

- Does 3.5 mean 3.5.0 or 3.5.* (i.e. will it be considered a bug if
RTC-2.0 does not tolerate 3.5.1 or 3.5.2 when they are released)

- Is there a better way to install RTC-2.0 into Eclipse 3.5 than is
described in http://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/InstallRTC20IntoEclipse35
If not, will there be (before RTC-3.0)?

Thanks,
Geoff

RTC 2.0 'tolerates' Eclipse 3.5. This means Eclipse 3.5 is not fully supported however RTC 2.0 is still able to run effectively with it.
This is listed in the System requirements found in the link below.
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=3488&context=SSCP65&context=SS7W3X&context=SS7VZS&context=SS7W59&context=SSSTY3&q1=Detailed+System+Requirements+for+the+Rational+Team+Concert+2.0+client+environment&uid=swg27015704&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en#Eclipse

As it is not fully supported, I do not think it will be considered a bug if 3.5.x is not tolerated.

I'm not sure that "run effectively" is any clearer than "tolerates" (:-).

Some possibilities:
- it takes some manual work to get it installed, but once you get it
installed, everything works as expected.
- it should work, but we don't perform the kinds of full regression
tests that would allow us to guarantee that it works. We will fix any
bugs you find.
- Same as previous possibility, but we don't commit to fix bugs that you
find.

WRT the 3.5.0 vs. 3.5.*, the question wasn't whether 3.5.* was fully
supported, but rather whether 3.5.* was "tolerated" or whether only
3.5.0 was "tolerated".

Cheers,
Geoff
