If I create a new plan, and then click on the "Charts" tab at the bottom, I get the following:

'Display Chart' has encountered a problem.

Report descriptor not found for: workitems.OpenWorkItemsByType

Any idea how to fix this?

Mike, if you open your Team Artifacts Navigator ->Reports->Report Templates, do you see in there a report named Open Work Items by Type?
If yes can you please open the properties dialog for that report and ensure it has an identifier equal to "workitems.OpenWorkItemsByType"?

If you don't see the report template, Right click the Report Templates node and select "Deploy New Templates". This will bring the full list of available report templates. Please, deploy the ones you need.

That was it! Just needed to deploy the templates. A suggested enhancement -- tell the user that, if the report doesn't exist, have an admin deploy the report, instead of just saying "Report descriptor not found for: workitems.OpenWorkItemsByType"...
