How to restrict workitems displayed in the TYPE dropdown

Within work item, we have a dropdown named "Type". It lists all the types of work items available e.g. Task, Defect, Risk, Milestone etc. How are these values controlled?

I want to list only "Task" and "Defect" in the "Type" dropdown but don't want to list "Risk" and "Milestone"?

Please let me know.

with ClearQuest you could do that without speed more than 5 minutes.

If you don't need them at all, just disable them in the process config.

If you want to disable them for single users or teams, As much as I know its not possible yet. But there exists a Enhancment Requests for it or similar usecases.

I want to show only selective work items in the list, is that possible?
