Any plans to have the RTC Web Client support the editing of SCM files?

Richard Thompson (83) | asked Jun 10 '15, 11:58 a.m.

We have projects storing markdown files and csv files in RTC source control.

It would be ideal if Testers and Analysts could update those files via the RTC WebClient as opposed to needing to use a full developer IDE like Eclipse.

I know JazzHub offers this capability .... but what about RTC itself? In our company we have RTC installed internally. Are there any plans for RTC to offer this capability?

Thanks

Which version of the RTC Server are you running? Using the latest version I am able to edit files by clicking on the "pencil" icon.

We are running Rational Jazz Team Server Version: 5.0.2

The options I have for a given file are

  1. Lock and download
  2. Download
  3. Upload
  4. Lock
  5. unlock
  6. Delete
