Running Jazz on wm-ware?

David Samuelsson (2161) | asked Nov 20 '07, 7:12 a.m.
We are looking to setup Jazz for a smaller team here (around 4 ppl that can grow up to 20 distributed worldwide), and i dont think i can reasonably spend funding on a brand new server to support this. We do not use DB2 either so my way points to wmware servers for this to do the test and evaluation.

Has anyone tested to run the Jazz server on wm ware with the DB2 server on the same WM-ware server? I know this is not optimal, that i should sepearete the database from the web etc , but i cant find any reasonable cash fund to spend money on it just now.

The wmware server will have 1 CPU and 2 GB of RAM assigned to it.

problem/no problems?

JAZZ DEVELOPER
I currently have Jazz working with DB2 and WAS on a Linux VMware Image with 1gb of ram assigned to it. We have close to 20 people using it successfully.

ok, thanks. We will most likely be running it on windows server, so we will see if it works out ok.
