Error- Only work items from plans can be moved to a plan

In RTC, I have created release, iterations and assigned work items to different iterations.

Then I created a Plan- Release backlog for that release and was trying out dragging of workitems from Release summary section to iterations.... there I am getting this error message -"Only work items from plans can be moved to a plan"

What does it mean? and why I am not able to use drag and drop?

Similar problems have been reported in the past.

- What version of the product are you using?
- What are you using as your "grab handle"?
If you're using the checkbox, Create Work Item icon, or the drop down button associated with the Create Work Item icon, please try using the grab handle on the far left side of the work item.
The grab handle looks like two columns of dots, and my mouse pointer changes to a "move" pointer when hovered over the grab handle.

Thanks Shawan.

With left side dotted "Grab Handle" this drag and drop works. However, when I drag using work item link, it shows same icon (small tooltip) but results in the said error.


I am using:

Change and Configuration Management - Core Libraries 5.0.2 RTC-I20141031-0926
Jazz Foundation - Core Libraries 5.0.2 RJF-I20141028-1603
