How can the RTC 5.0.2 Quick Planner warning banner be removed?

We recently upgraded from RTC 5.0.1 to RTC 5.0.2. When users start typing into Quick Planner, the following warning banner immediately appears: "Warning - To create a work item of the specified type, attributes are required which cannot be set on this page. To create a work item, click here". I presume this warning banner is occurring because we use custom attributes. However, these custom attributes have default values and users are able to ignore the warning banner and save work items using Quick Planner. Is there a way to remove the Quick Planner warning banner, or to reword the banner, to avoid giving the incorrect impression to users that Quick Planner cannot be used? Thanks for any advice.
