Collect work in from several project areas in "My work&

Hi!

When I tried to have "My work" display all the work items that I work with, I found that I need to select exactly one project area to show in "My work".

Is it possible to show all my work items in "My work"?

I see it as my personal task list, and as such it should contain everything I shall do, so I can prioritize different kinds of items I shall perform.

We have chosen to have several project areas, and I myself work in teams for several of these project areas. Was that a bad move considering the (possible) limitation of "My work"?

Should we change to using only one project area instead? We use several because it seems to me it would scale better.

Any thoughts on that?

WRT how many project areas to have, I advise folks to only create a new
project area if they "have to", i.e. the fewer the project areas the
better. In particular, this minimizes the number of process
descriptions you have to update when you want to make some change to the
process.

WRT "My Work", you are correct that you can only display one project
area at a time in that view. I agree that it would be desireable to see
more than one ... I've submitted work item 86984 requesting this
functionality.

Cheers,
Geoff
