RTC Reporting - conversation of integer values

Katrin Heymann (19824563) | asked Jul 30 '10, 8:50 a.m.
Hi,

I want create a report with WIs grouped by an enumeration field "Application" and Time Spent.

User added e.g. "22 hours" in the Time_Spent field. In the report of the field I see "79200". Only divide it with 3600 will not give the correct sum.

Does anyone know how to calculate the correct value ?

Additional information:

Following entries in the WI group:

ESTIMATE
5 hours
Unassigned
Unassigned
5 hours

The sum of 10 hours were shown as 35999 in the report. Only divide with 3600 will not show 10.

For whatever the result seems to be missing a second. Maybe calculation precision? However maybe you can round the result?

BirtMath.round works to solve my problem.

I only want to know if there's an official way to realize it.

Thanks for your answer.
