Use data in a database as datapool

Is there any plans to enable connection to a data source to use it as a datapool?

A number of customers have their test data sitting in databases, and currently will need to export to csv and then import to RQM datapool. Just wondering if there is currently any way to streamline it, and if there will be any plans for enhancements to enable datapools to connect to live databases for test data to be used in manual tests.
