How to reflect WI Customization for aleady created ones?

Tanmay Shirnalkar (1531319) | asked Apr 02 '15, 8:05 a.m.

Hi All,

I have customized a existing work item type with the addition of two new attributes.

These new two attributes are reflecting into the editor when we create new work item , but I have already many work items of same type present in the project area and want this new customization change to be reflected in them. Currently, these changes are not reflecting for older work items.

How Can I reflect these changes for already created work items of same type?

Is there any way to do that?

Please Help !!

If you use Eclipse client, then Query all the work items of this type and in the results window press "Synchronize Attributes" as shown below

You would get the "Synchronize Attributes" in the icon on the query results
