How to deploy DOORS Next Gen API Extensions onto Websphere

Peter Morgenthaler (102815) | asked Mar 22 '15, 6:53 p.m.
We have developed a number of API Extensions and currently host them on a separate HTTP server. The problem is that DOORS NG is hosted on Websphere using a secure certificate and the API are on HTTP so most browsers (quite correctly) block the extension and some give you an option to ignore it.

What I would like to do is deploy it on the same webserver (Websphere) as DOORS NG. I assume that the extensions would need to be packaged in a WAR file and the WAR file deployed onto websphere?

I would like to know if this would work and if so instructions on how to do it?

Thanks

Peter

The instructions in the "Hosting extensions on WebSphere Application Server" section in the following link will provide the details on how to create and deploy your WAR file.
