Enhancement - Jazz reporting services to report on Modules not just artifect types
The Reporting Service can currently report on DOORS artifact types. We store key information within the parent module (such as level of the module).
We would like to be able to report on all artifacts within a module(s)..
eg select all modules of type BAE_Module which have an attribute BAE_Level = 1 and run a traceability report on the artifacts on each of the modules.
At the moment we don't have visibility of what module the requirement is actually associated with.
Build a traceability report to show all modules at level 1.
Select all modules in Project X with type BAE_Module
Limit the modules to one with an attribute set to BAE_Level=2
Show all artifacts with in the module (limited by type idea but not essential) and their relationships to other items.
We group our modules by level and need to be able to report metrics and traceability by level. At the moment we can not limit the report to just a module without setting an attribute on each requirement with the module or run the report and remove the extra information which might be picked up.
Any thoughts on how this can be done at the moment with RS 5.0.2? If not could it be added as an enhancement. See belowhttp://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=67700
