I entered 6 Hours for this task, it is changing it to 1 Day.  The work Hours for the Developer are set at 7.5 hours per day.  Where is this getting 1 day from?

Hi Tom,
The developer's work day length setting doesn't have impact to the Estimated time in the work item.
You need to check the "Work Time per Day" setting in the project area's process configuration "Project Configuration > Configuration Data > Planning > Work Environment "
