Remove Defects for the test script

HI All,
I know how to add a defect to a test script while executing it.
But if I have added a defect by mistake is there any way of removing it from that run.
Even if I have a fresh run of the test case.There are certain rports that pull up that information ....
only solution that i could find is delete the exection record.

There is an existing enhancement request for this functionality, currently targeted for the 2.0 release.
