how can you run a report to display linked requirements

I am looking to create a report which shows the relationship between a requirement (in this case a "Contractual Requirement") to another requirement (in this case a  "Detailed Requirement" that appear in the Links area in the Requirements Manager). This traceability report I'm looking to build would display a main requirement and all the related linked requirements.

Hello Russell,

if you have Insight or RRDI installed with RRC, the report you want is easy to get.

To create a simple report showing requirement to requirement link you can use the following data items in report or query studio:
  • Operational Data Store > Requirement Area >  Requirement > Requirement ID
  • Operational Data Store > Requirement Area >  Requirement > Reference ID
  • Operational Data Store > Requirement Area >  Requirement > Name
  • Operational Data Store > Requirement Area >  Requirement Related Requirements > Requirement ID
  • Operational Data Store > Requirement Area >  Requirement Related Requirements > Reference ID
  • Operational Data Store > Requirement Area >  Requirement Related Requirements > Name
  • Operational Data Store > Requirement Area >  Requirement Related Requirements > Link Type

You can put a filter on link type to only display the type of link you are interested in.

Best Regards,

Francesco Chiossi
