 Is there a way to share variables between scripts that customize work item behavior? i.e. Calculated Value script.

As far as I am aware no. They all run in their own context as far as I know. They are called dependent on the dependencies. The data they have access to is work item attributes. You could use a hidden attribute in the work item I suppose.
