Change in Project Area Name - Cause and Effect

I had created an LPA with the following project areas:

RTC -> AMT
RRC -> Rational
RQM -> AMT Tools

I changed my RTC PA name from AMT to TDE. Now, when I try and link artifacts from RRC, I cannot see the new RTC project area name. I still see the older project area name which is AMT.

Can something be done about this so that when I try and link artifacts from RRC, I see the newer name of the RTC PA.

The references between the applications use the UUID of the project area and not the name. You should be able to see all referenced project areas in the lifecycle administration screen and also be able to see the URL that is used (with the ID). a name change should not have the effects you describe. Maybe someone with permission to save the project area removed other information e.g. the artifact container linkages.

I would suggest to check the log files of the applications as well to see if something indicates the problem.
