how to pull data using eclipse from clearquest web client user access

 HI,

I am planning to generate custom reports dynamically based on choice, can some one please help me in configuring clearquest web client with eclipse .

Using IBM rationalQuest  web client 7.1.2 (I dont have CQ installed locally, its just a web access and i am having only schema name and username and passwords.

First of all, ClearQuest is not part of the CLM suite and it is not based on Jazz. Any related questions should be posted on the developerWorks forum, not here.

If you are thinking of generating reports in Eclipse, you will need to use BIRT. All the turorials about BIRT reports for ClearQuest that I have seen require local installation of ClearQuest. It is the same for RTC if you want to create BIRT reports for RTC.

Once the requirement is met, you can do something like this.

(Note that you will not see the "ClearQuest Query Data Source" option in step 5 if you don't have ClearQuest installed locally).
